Primrose Hill

We had glorious sunshine in London, the past weekend was the warmest day of 2014 so far; naturally crowds of people flocked to the cities hot spots. I visited Primrose Hill on Sunday, a buzzing atmosphere, picnics, ball games, ice cream cones, iced fruit drinks – everything you imagine a summers day to be. The beauty of this spot is the view point, you can see London’s famous landmarks from the top of the hill, London Eye, The Shard, The Gherkin, St Pauls Cathedral and many more. Conveniently at the side of the park there are plenty of food stalls to satisfy your appetite and cute cafes / pubs, I spent the afternoon watching my friends play American football, oodled over the adorable puppies running around and generally people watching while catching some rays and topping up on my vitamin D.

I have been a huge fan of the ‘co-ords’ trend for a while, if you follow my twitter you will know I recently wore a bottle green botanical print ensemble from Zara. This blue striped set is a Zara purchase too, an angular peplum skirt with printed stripes complimenting the figures curves, teamed with a boxy T shirt shaped crop top that has a beautiful pinched box peat design feature on the back. I’m looking forward to pairing these up separately this summer; I already have a couple of outfit ideas in mind, so stay tuned. I hope you all enjoyed the sunshine!
